Social Media Measurement

The use of Social Media for business and personal has blown up throughout the past ten years.  Many businesses including mine uses social media to gain customers and reach current customers.  There are many tools that businesses like mine can use including this blog, Facebook, Twitter, etc.  The one that I would like to focus on in this blog in our Facebook page.  These social media tools can help businesses tabulate how many customers we have had at our site and how many customers "like" us.
Our current Facebook page, located at https://www.facebook.com/altoonafamilyccc, currently has 181 likes.  Our top two highest reaches were from our picture share of our new hallway, which reached 363 people and our first commercial which reached 327 people.
AFCCC also has a Twitter account that helps us reach customers as well.  We currently have 247 Tweets, 42 accounts that we are following, 12 mentions and 15 followers. 
Of all of the tools that we currently use Facebook has been our most beneficial.  It has reached the largest audience and engaged them.  I believe by promoting my business on Facebook I am able to communicate with past, current, and future clientele.  Facebook has helped make my business more personable as well as got my name out.

Virtual Family FUN

Virtual Family Kingdom is a safe and fun virtual world for the entire family. Go on quests and scavenger hunts, play unique fun games, and trade with friends.  Their goal is to create a family environment which fosters friendly interaction and play.  Us at Altoona Family Child Care Center greatly recommend this Virtual Family for your family.  It is a great way to get your kids to safely interact online while engaging in activities with the entire family. 
According to VFK the main experience of this virtual world based in history, is to socially interact with other players. Players meet and play every day in the richly decorated ages. They ice skate in the wintery age of Icetastic, and swim in the tropical pools of Splashtastic. They go to parties, participate in holiday celebrations and visit the private spaces and rooms of other players. They embark on epic quests to be able to frolic in the mythical  ages of fairies and merfolk, prowl medieval forests as a wolf, or head for the open road in their own car, as well as go on many other fun epic quests. They can ride horses in the wild Australian Outback, visit an old Western town and dismount in front of the Western Mercantile, to challenge another player to a game of checkers.

Altoona Family Child Care Center has joined www.care.com.  Care.com helps families and caregivers connect in an easy and reliable way.  There purpose is to find customers ideal care solutions, they hope to make life simpler for families everywhere so using their service needs to be simple too.  Not only are they a review website but an awesome niche for parents and caregivers to look at articles, videos, and tons more.

April Crafts for Kids

Spring is finally here.  Our team at Altoona Family Child Care Center has been super busy creating some amazing art projects for all of our children.  We have everything from egg shell spike plants to muffin tin flowers to cotton tail bunny rabbits. 
We are so proud of our creations that we would like to share them with you via social media.  This week we will be creating videos allowing you to see the amazing arts and crafts that we have produced with the children.  These videos will be precisely 6 seconds long and easy for you to access on our Twitter account as well as Facebook page.
